Raspberry

The raspberry belongs to the genus of Rubus. It blooms from May until June and is harvested 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the specie. Raspberry species are divided in 2 groups: summer- and autumn raspberries. Raspberries are pink to red; some species are yellow.

Raspberries can be eaten raw or as en ingredient of marmelade, syrup, bavarois, juices and sauce. They contain vitamin C and a lot of antioxidants.
