Exofi is HACCP and BRC certified.

To provide the quality of products and services which our clients expect, the procedures we have put in place meet the requirements of HAACP and BRC. Link to our BRC certificate.

The quality control system adhered to at our HACCP and BRC certified locations is audited annually by an independent organization.

We guarantee the conformity of our products through a rigorous verification at the in-take of all produce, based upon the guidelines provided by the collaboration of the AFSCA (Federal food safety agency) and the official trade organization, « FRESH TRADE
BELGIUM».

This quality assurance is provided by systematic sampling of the imported produce to verify that these comply with all phytosanitary standards, especially with respect to the maximum permitted chemical residues (LMR) in accordance with the relevant EU regulations.

Our adoption of the HACCP regime enables us to control all risks and hazards to the quality at every stage, from intake through to delivery to the client.

We assure the traceability of each package by means of a computerized lot management system which enables our rapid reaction in case of irregularities. A label on all product lots identifies the origin and all traceability elements as required by EU regulations for fruits and vegetables.

Exofi Fresh Market takes great care in selecting suppliers who comply with our European regulations and who follow the EUREGAP/GLOBALGAP procedures for production following « Good Agricultural Practices».

We support our suppliers in the efforts to follow responsible agricultural practices, to source produce for our clients which are healthful, flavorful, and rich in nutritional values.
