Strawberry

A strawberry is a plant in the family Rosaceae. There are more than 20 species, of which the most known one is the Garden Strawberry. Fresh strawberries contain a lot of vitamin C. They are a popular addition to dairy products such as yogurt, ice cream and milk shakes, and can also be added to tea and pies.

The best period to eat strawberries is from April to July, although some species can be consumed until autumn.
